Care & Cleaning
The Detachable Cover: This part is easy! The cover is machine washable. Use a gentle cycle at 30°C (86°F) and always air-dry to keep the fabric soft and durable.
The Clay Bag (The Insert): The internal clay bag should never be machine washed or put in the dryer. To clean it, simply spot-clean by hand using a damp cloth or sponge.
The "Why": Submerging the clay bag in water or subjecting it to a machine cycle will damage the natural beads and can lead to leakage or loss of heat retention.
Storage: Keep your Heatbag in a cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme heat to prevent the materials from degrading over time.
Safe Heating & Usage
Always Use the Cover: For a comfortable experience, always keep the clay bag inside its protective cover. This provides the perfect barrier for your skin.
Heat with Precision: Follow the heating instructions carefully. Excessive heating can lead to skin burns, deterioration of the bag, or even leakage.
Adult Supervision: Safety first! A grown-up should always handle the heating process, and children should never use or heat the bag unsupervised.
Skin Sensitivity: Avoid applying the Heatbag to highly sensitive skin, open wounds, or areas with severe swelling.
Maintenance & Safety
Handle with Care: Keep the clay bag away from sharp objects. A puncture or tear will make the bag unusable and cause the beads to spill.
Pre-Use Check: Quickly inspect your Heatbag before each use. If you see any signs of damage or wear, cool it down and discard it.
Medical Note: For serious injuries, it is always best to consult a medical professional before use. If the internal contents are ever accidentally swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
