Heating and Cooling Your HeatbagUpdated 19 days ago
How to Heat (Hot Therapy)
For a long-lasting, natural warmth, heat the clay bag only in the microwave.
Settings: Heat at maximum power.
800W: 60 seconds
1000W: 55 seconds
Important Rules: * Never microwave the outer cover (the metal zipper is a hazard).
Ensure all additional microwave features (like grill or convection) are turned off.
Only heat the bag when it is at room temperature. Never heat a frozen clay bag.
If you prefer more warmth, continue in 5-second intervals until you reach your desired temperature.
How to Cool (Cold Therapy)
For soothing relief from inflammation or heat, place the clay bag in the freezer for at least 1 hour. Before use, check that the temperature is comfortable for your skin.
Essential Precautions
Always Use the Cover: Never apply the clay bag directly to your skin. The cover is designed to regulate temperature and protect you.
Avoid Sensitive Areas: Do not use on open wounds, sensitive skin, or areas of severe swelling.
Check for Damage: Before each use, inspect the clay bag for punctures or leaks. If damaged, discard it immediately.
Supervision: Adult supervision is required. Do not allow children to heat the bag unsupervised.
Medical Advice: If you have a serious injury or chronic condition, consult your physician to ensure thermotherapy is right for your specific case.
